Hey Everyone, been a while since we last posted… been very busy with some new things we are working on. In the midst of all the changes going on here at Enemy To Fashion we committed to doing some custom pieces for FashionSOUL a charity fashion show here in Charlotte, NC. This show was a ton of fun as it is the first one where my wife was along for the ride and design. Vanessa from Corvidae jewelry made custom pieces for the show based on our concepts & materials, she really did an amazing job. Had a great time creating the pieces and showing them off all in the name of charity. However I do think this may be our last show as we are going to focus on wholesale/retail offerings and prepare for the looming Mayan Calendar Doomsday.

First look modeled by Hannah Slep was a short dress made from Vietnam war used cargo parachute materials. Jewelry was custom made for the show by Corvidae.

Second look modeled by Dawn was a skirt made from the same Cargo parachute material and Paracord. Amazing necklace by Corvidae

Here is Antony showing our Doomsday Moto Jacket and our new Tiger Stripe Harem Cargo Pants & a custom pair of Jungle Jump boots

Leg two of our trip took us to Sin City, Las Vegas… we made it from LA to the convention center in a record 2 Hours and 58 Minutes! Yeah that’s right… Average speed will not be disclosed on the interwebs… Made it just in time to load in our stuff 2 minutes before the 6p cutoff time. Spent a few hours getting our stuff situated then it was on to our hotel and back up at the butt crack of dawn to face the public!

This was the first major trade show I have had a booth at… I have had tons of experience behind the scenes and just attending, but wow this was a whole different ball game. Im proud of what JYJ and I executed… Just imagine what we could do if we had more than 4 days to do it in! Going to building out a curated section with the people at Project/MAGIC in August cannot wait to show you what we are planning! SPECIAL THANKS TO JEFF DECKER FOR LETTING US STEAL HIS COLLECTION FOR THE SHOW!

**Side Note: I am going to admit that I had made some judgements about Mr. Nick Wooster, nothing terrible just assumed he was just a pretty face. Well that all changed when at 11 the night of loading in the convention center was desolate while we were setting up our space… I hit the restroom and saw Mr. Wooster in his booth alone tweaking every piece until it was in its perfect place. Instant respect in my book. Nice chat with him later on about this very thing… Solid Guy. ( Even though he is just a “Queen from Kansas”)
His display area was every brand I wish I could afford to buy. Honestly perfect!
Ran into even more friends in Vegas… Some I havent seen in years! Even got to catch up with Hattie Watson & Alysha Nett such good folks!
Check out tons of photos after the jump below!

Enemy To Fashion made the trek out west to slang our wears… First stop was the INSPIRATION show presented by fashion photographer Rin Tanaka. Arrived in LA at the crack of dawn and was scooped up by my partner in crime Eric from Junkyard Jeans. Then it was on to the Queen Mary in Long Beach to setup our booth. Had a great time at the show and saw tons of familiar faces… But our week was far from over. After 2 days at Inspiration we finished up with a great party at the RRL store where Jeff Decker unveiled a limited edition belt buckle for the RRL Stores.

Fast Forward to 4am the next morning we had to setup Eric’s booth at the Rose Bowl. If you are a vintage clothing fan and have never been to the Rose Bowl Flea market I suggest you add it to your bucket list. Rose Bowl went great but we had to bail out early to make the trip to Las Vegas to setup our booth at MAGIC/PROJECT by 6pm, an impossible feat unless Bubba is at the wheel…

Check out a MILLION more photos after the jump… We will also be updating with a couple more posts from this trip shortly!
