Last year my wife sold some of her painted windows at the NODA all arts market, at that show we met some good people and the show was a big success for wifey as she sold out of her stuff… We decided to split a table with a friend a few months ago…since then wifey had a new baby and didn’t have anything ready for the show… So I dug in my storage for several old samples, grabbed some recent paintings that I did for fun and set it up!… All in all the show was a fun time with my partner in Crime, Joah Brown. Our table was in an OK spot but once we got behind it we were sort of stuck for the night unless you wanted to crawl under to get food or go check the show out. Had a great time keeping tally of how many types of people we met… and how many hats people tried on at the booth in front of us, Stephanie from Artbixin was killing it (sales machine) we even spotted a sexy avatar and possibly one hermaphrodite. Oh yeah I also sold one of my Manic Pixie Dream Girl paintings to a nice older lady… Thanks to all my friends that stopped by to support as well as wifey(so hot), Xman(my heart) and baby Jonah(so sleepy)…

 

Im only passionate about a few things… My family, my work and junkin’ … yes I have been obsessed with junk for a while! I love to go to flea markets, yards sales, estate sales,or just about any place where people are selling their crap for cheap! Finally got some time to go check out such a place called Cline’s Country Antiques! Cline’s consists of about 4 acres in the middle of nowhere littered with all sorts of rusty treasures!  Mr. Cline apparently has a “photographic memory” and apparently remembers where everything is at! My theory is that he is a master of time and space and can easily freeze time, find what you need then unfreeze time and you are none the wiser… Got some great deals cant wait to go back!

I gave up “collecting” vinyl toys a few years ago, but every now and then I slip back into it when i see something i like… I have always been a fan of Josh (Shag) Agle as well as wanting to make a purchase from ROTOFUGI. Well I was lucky enough to grab one of the Gallery prototype figures from Shag’s show “Red Star, Black Eye” So stoked to get #61 of 100!

Also what a great transaction from ROTOFUGI, packaged arrived promptly in a nice gift wrapped box which was nice since the box was signed by SHAG.! Check out the pics below and as always you can click on them to make them larger!

 

This past weekend the second race of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, only an hour outside of the UNDFTD La Brea Headquarters. To commemorate the race, UNDFTD along with Dr. Romanelli and driver management agency, MMI, created a limited run of long-sleeve tees. The tee was presented to Number 9 car driver, Kasey Kahne, right before he strapped into his race car.
