Dazzle Camo.

Always working on something new… i thought I would preview with some of the research I have been doing. I first saw “Dazzle Camo” a few years back on an old pic of the underside of a P-51 Mustang fighter plane… I thought it was purely concept but it was actually used in both World Wars… Mostly on boats…The purpose of dazzle camouflage is not to conceal, but to disorient. The patterns make it difficult for onlookers to determine which direction the ship is heading.

The Rhode Island School of Design has a great online resource full of Naval illustrations… Check it out!
