Weekend So Far…

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

Weekend has started off great, got to hit the NHRA four wide nationals this morning to do a photo shoot and some recon for work! Really cool event. Next I picked up my son and headed out to a motorcycle swap meet! had a blast.. its so fun seeing my little man grow up and already share similar interests… He is already a moto-fiend.  Make sure to check out the pics at the end of the dope bubble goggles I scored, packaging is sick also!… Oh yeah and peep gray-bear’s butt-crack!.(for you Leslie)

Road Trip: 12 Hours of Sebring. Part ONE

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

I obviously have a thing for racing… and one of my favorite series is the American Le Mans. Me and a few like minded buds decided we were going to hit the road and make the 10 hour drive to Sebring Florida for the 12 hours of Sebring road race. I split this post up into two because I have so many photos and I am much too tired to write about the entire trip right now.

We left early Friday morning, packed the rig full of stuff and headed out… Boredom quickly set in on the 12 hour trip, Thats right Google maps said it would be about a 12 hour drive but thanks to TYT Matt’s driving prowess we made it in just over 10 hours… even with a few leisurely pit stops along the way. We arrived around 5pm at the track scooped up our credentials(thanks @Mc_Driver) then proceeded to the belly of this beast, the track campground. With no open rooms in site we were forced to camp… and what we came upon in that campground we could have never prepared for… Check for more of that in post # 2.

After getting settled we walked around the Pits and Competitor garage area…Got a nice tour of the Falken Porsche garage as well as I got to feast my eyes on the 007 Aston Martin! I support any team that runs the Gulf paint scheme.

Im going to stop rambling now and get to the pics… they can communicate this trip far better that I ever could.

As always click on the pics to make them larger.
