heard about this giant flea market just across the state line in Hillsville VA. So I packed everyone up and headed that way… I had some sourcing to do for a few new products as well as some things for DrX.

The Flea market was HUGE! tons of shitty food plus the people watching was uncomfortable. We ran into a few people we knew suprisingy enough our next door neighbors who invited us over to there newly acquired Plantation home outside of Winston Salem. After the show we headed that way… this place is amazing so much history and its absolutely gorgeous. Our neighbors have been working on it for about a year and are doing an amazing job!. They took us the eat at a local “hot spot” called the Hillbilly Hideaway, this place is awesome we walked in sat down and they brought us a ton of food. No menus, no ordering, you just get what you get!.. so damn good.

On the Road: N. Wilkesboro Speedway “Back to Shine”

took my son out to North Wilkesboro Speedway this weekend… it was the grand reopening event. This track has some serious roots… Check out the website and read all about the history and future plans. Had a great time checking out some of the future stars of motor sports compete on this historic track. Also the track has an amazing patina I hope they preserve that somehow.

Did a little test shoot the other night with Tanna and J.Richey got some good shots, made some good notes about the womens items im working on as well as had a visitors roll through to hang out, benefits of having a shop on the main road! Cant wait to get this project wrapped up and on the market! Also looking forward to working with Tanna and J.Richey again!

After the Shoot I hit a bday bash for Gray Bears girlfriend Leslie… Wish I could have stayed longer but duty calls… I spotted a Leprechaun on the way out which is supposed to bring me some good luck… so far NOTHING.

Got a few hours away with my son to check out a local car show and auto swap meet! some really cool stuff, lots of old race cars, rat rods and a lot of other bullshit I wasn’t interested in. Other than the heat it was a really nice day out, plus my son picked up on a bunch of chicks and had his first taste of curly fries ever! Thanks to NOS energy drink for the passes!

Out of town on some business and got a moment to stop by the Raleigh Denim headquarters. I really enjoyed this visit with owner Victor, it was really nice to catch up with someone that is in the same frame of mind as myself… Its funny how you can just meet someone and feel so proud of them. This husband and wife team are pursuing their dreams and killing it at the same time.

Victor has an amazing assortment of vintage sewing machines and a wealth of knowledge.

I got so busy talking shop that I didn’t take many pics… but check it out.

NASCAR Bristol TN, DAY two – NOS Energy Drink

After an exciting night in victory lane with Kyle Busch and the KBM team… we headed back and got some sleep… and unfortunately woke up to a torrential downpour.

This made for a slow but productive day at the NOS Energy Drink Base Camp…

NASCAR Bristol, TN: DAY ONE with NOS ENERGY DRINK

Spent the last several days in Bristol, TN with NOS energy drink, these trips are always a fun break from the normal day to day at work. Woke up early got my bags packed including one of the new soon to be released E2F Deployment bags… Got swooped up by the king of the cool kids, Mr. NOS himself, Matt aka Pat. After loading up the NOS truck we headed out for Bristol…

The NASCAR series hosts 2 races a year at Bristol Motor Speedway this one happens to be the night time race. people from all over head out to this race to partake in the festival style atmosphere.

The photos below are from Day (daytime) one… great time setting up the NOS Energy Drink Base camp and finishing out with the NASCAR Truck Series race where NOS Energy Drink Athlete and MMI client Kyle Busch took the win!
